두시 반에 알람맞춰두고 나도 모르게 잠들었는데 일어나보니 세시 반이다.

알람 내가 끈건 기억이 나는데 왜 시간이 한 시간이나 지났지. (…)

조금 더 뒹굴뒹굴 하다가 네시가 다 되어 문 잠그고 나가니 호텔 주인이랑 눈이 딱 마주쳤다.

‘너 푹 잤구나’ 하는 그녀의 말이 ‘내가 잠깐 쉬다 나오면 지도 준다고 했는데 왜 이제 나와!!’ 하는 느낌.

여튼 지도를 받아 내게 오늘의 추천일정과 내일의 추천일정까지 짜주는데 여행사 온줄.. ㅋㅋㅋ

I set the alarm at 2:30 and fell asleep without realizing it, but when I woke up, it was 3:30.

I remember turning off the alarm, but why did it take an hour.

After rolling around a little longer, I locked the door when it was almost 4 o’clock and left, and my eyes met the hotel owner.

When she said, “You slept well,” it felt like, “I said I’d give you a map if I took a break, but why are you coming out now?”

Anyway, after getting guidance from her, she makes me a recommendation schedule for today and tomorrow, and I feel like I’m in a travel agency. lol

일단 고맙게 설명 듣고는 내일 밤에 인레로 넘어갈 나이트버스 어디서 예약하냐 물으니

자기네 호텔에서도 예약해준단다.

금액이 내가 알아본 금액과 차이가 없어서 ‘바로 예약해줘.’ 했더니 오히려 당황한다.

더 알아보고 말 할줄 알았나.

난 내게 친절하게 해주면 1-2천원 비싸도 팁 주는겜치고 그냥 쿨하게 결정 하는 스타일이라.

이따가 돌아오면 티켓 주겠다고 하길래 알겠다며 밖으로 나왔다.

추천일정에 맞게 오른쪽으로 돌아 Botahtaung Pagoda로 걸었다.

다른 동남아 지역에 비해 미얀마는 길을 건너는게 더 어렵다;;

오토바이가 대부분인 동남아 지역은 그냥 슬금슬금 건너면 알아서 피해가는데

여기는 자동차 위주의 도시인지라 이게 마냥 편하지가 않다.

땀이 슬슬 날 무렵 도착한 파고다는 외국인에게만 입장료가 있는데

앞으로의 미얀마 일정에 수많은 파고다에 들어갈 계획이라 양곤에서는 메인격인 파고다만 입장할 예정.

그냥 슬쩍 보고 강변으로 걸었다.

As we plan to enter numerous pagodas on our future trip to Myanmar, only famous pagodas will enter Yangon.

I just peeked and walked to the riverside.

강변에서는 배를 탈 수 있는 선착장이 있고, 여느 강처럼 엄청난 수의 갈매기떼를 만날 수도 있다.

잠시 멈춰서 몇 장의 사진을 찍고 길을 따라 걷는다.

방금 지나온 파고다의 뒷 골목을 지나 큰길을 걷고 있는데, 강렬한 햇빛과는 어울리지 않게 부슬비가 끊임없이 내린다.

부슬비가 피부에 달라붙고 햇빛이 때리는데 땀까지 섞이니 진득진득해지는 이 느낌 오랜만이다.

전형적인 동남아의 날씨.

On the riverside, there is a dock where you can ride a boat, and you can meet a huge number of seagulls like any river.

Pause and take some pictures and walk along the street.

Walking through the back alley of Pagoda, which has just passed, I am walking down the main road, and it is constantly drizzling, which does not match the intense sunlight.

It’s been a while since the drizzle stuck to the skin and the sunlight hit it, but it feels sticky with sweat.

Typical Southeast Asian weather.

한참을 걸은 것 같은데도 나타나지 않아 구글맵을 자주 보며 걷다가 여기인 것 같은 커다란 사거리가 나타났다.

도저히 건널 수 없을거 같아 육교로 올라가기 위해 시장골목으로 들어가 돌아서 들어가는데

마치 백화점 화장실이 2,3층에 있어 매장 구경하게 하는 느낌이다.

육교에 올라 사진 몇 장 찍고 있는데 심상치 않은 비가 쏟아지기 시작한다.

우산도 없고 카메라가방도 없이 50mm하나 메고 나와 육교에 가만히 서서 비가 멈추기를 기다린다.

다른 미얀마 사람들도 마찬가지 가만히 기다리는 이 특유의 여유가 참 좋다.

I didn’t show up even though I walked for a long time, so I often looked at Google Maps and walked, and a large intersection that seemed to be here appeared.

I don’t think I can cross the street, so I go into the market alley to go up to the overpass, and I go around,

It is as if the department store bathroom is on the second and third floors, making you look around the store.

I’m taking some pictures on the overpass, and it starts to rain.

Without an umbrella or a camera bag, I only bring 50mm lenses to the camera and stand still on the overpass waiting for the rain to stop.

Other Myanmar people also like this unique relaxation of waiting quietly.

한참을 기다려도 비는 멈출 생각이 없어 보이고,

이정도면 태풍 아니야? 라는 생각이 들 때쯤 비가 서서히 멎는다.

얼른 계단을 내려가 길을 건너야 하는데, 어떻게 건너야 할지 걱정 될 때는 현지인들이 건널 때 따라 건너면 된다. ㅋ..ㅋ

몇 블럭 더 걸어가니 이 골목이 나이트마켓이 열리는 곳이라는 것을 누가봐도 알만한 골목이 나타난다.

비가 그친지 얼마 안되어 다들 성급히 준비 하는 모습과, 음식냄새가 함께 어우러져 배가 슬슬 고프다.

마켓이 열리려면 시간이 좀 더 걸릴 것 같아 걷다가 발견한 빵집에 들어와

따뜻한 아메리카노와 초코케익 한 조각으로 잠시 휴식을 취한다.

Not long after the rain stopped, everyone was rushing to prepare and the smell of food combined to make me feel hungry.

I think it will take some time for the market to open, so I came into the bakery I found while walking,

Take a break with a slice of hot Americano and chocolate cake.
