새로운 나라를 간다는 설레임 때문일까 새벽내내 잠을 설치다가 늦게 잠들었다.
아침에 일어나자마자 이젠 몇 번째인지도 모르겠는 배낭을 다시 정리하고는 체크아웃 전에 철수네로 향했다.
Perhaps because of the excitement of going to a new country, I fell asleep late while not sleeping all night long.
As soon as I woke up in the morning, I rearranged my backpack, which I don’t know how many times it has been, and headed to Cheolsu’s before checking out.
배낭을 잠시 보관해달라고 하기 위함이었는데 일요일이라 그런가 문이 닫혀 있었다.
어떻게 할까 하다가 떠오른 데니스!
즉시 체크아웃하고 배낭을 짊어진 채 데니스에게 가서 당당하게
‘데니스 ! 나 배낭좀 맡아줘!’
했더니 완전 쿨하게 놓고 가라하는 데니스.
‘나 한 시간 뒤에 올게’ 하고 향한 곳은 바바라씨.
It was to ask for my backpack to be kept for a while, but the door was closed because it was Sunday.
DENNS came to mind while thinking about what to do!

DENNS saying “leave it there” totally coolly as soon as they hear me.
I said, “I’ll be back in an hour” and headed to BABA lassi.
1일 1라씨를 먹었었는데 이제 마지막 라씨다.
뭘 먹을까 고민하다 주문한건 처음 왔을 때 먹었던 초코볼크런치라씨.
이제 배가 불렀나 그때 먹은 맛이 안난다.
흠..
I ate one lassi a day, but now it’s the last lassi.
I was thinking about what lassi to eat and ordered the chocolate ball crunch lassi that I ate when I first came.
I guess I’m full now, but it doesn’t taste like what I ate then.
um..
그래도 시원하게 한 잔 들이키고 데니스네로 돌아갔다.
서양인 커플 손님과 동양인 손님 두 테이블이 있길래 금방 나올 줄 알고 김치볶음밥을 주문 했는데 시킨지 오십분 만에 나왔다.
이것이 인디안 타임!
다른 손님에게도 그러는지는 모르겠지만 알을 두개나 터트려주었다.
따뜻할 때 허겁지겁 먹고 있는데 양이 너무 많다. ㅠㅠ..
정말 먹고 싶어도 다 먹을 수가 없는 양이다.
식당 주인들은 남기면 맛이 없는 줄 알기 때문에 데니스에게 너무 많아서 다 못먹겠다고 사실대로 말 해주었다.
Still, I had a cool drink and went back to DENNS.
There were two tables, a Western couple and an Asian guest, so I thought it would come out soon, so I ordered a kimchi fried rice, but it came out 50 minutes after I ordered it.
This is Indian time!
I don’t know if it’s the same with other customers, but they popped two eggs.
I’m eating in a hurry when it’s warm, but the amount is too much.
Even if I really want to eat it, I can’t eat it all.
I honestly told DENNS that I couldn’t finish the food because the amount of food was too much because the restaurant owners thought that if the customer left food, they wouldn’t eat it because it tasted bad.

신경도 안써요…
적응 될만하니 떠나서 아쉽네요. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
And I asked a Western customer to take a commemorative photo with DENNS!
People who go to DENNS restaurants, don’t be surprised if DENNS takes off his clothes.

I feel sorry that I have to leave because I can adapt to this aspect. lol
데니스와 명함 교환을 하고 언제가 될지 모르지만 또 만나자며 인사를 나누고 밖으로 나왔다.
꽤나 걸어가야 하는데 이유는 오토릭샤가 올 수 있는 한계인 고돌리아 사거리까지 나가야 한다.
땀을 뻘뻘 흘리며 첫 오토릭샤가 무려 300루피를 부르길래 됐다며 지나가는데 280, 250, 200까지 떨어진다.
됐다며 뿌리치고 그 다음 릭샤에게 150에 가자하니 쿨하게 콜한다.
근데 이 릭샤 슈퍼울트라베스트드라이버다.
교통지옥의 바라나시를 아주 미친듯이 질주해서 나를 너무 빨리 터미널에 내려주었다..ㅋㅋㅋ
After exchanging business cards with DENNS, he greeted them again, saying, “I don’t know when, but let’s meet again,” and came out.
From now on, I have to walk quite a bit. The reason is that it should go to Godolia Intersection, the limit where Otorixia can come.
I arrived at the intersection sweating profusely. I have to go to the terminal, so I’m trying to catch Otorixia, but the first Otorixia cost me as much as 300 rupees, so I’m calling it too expensive. I pass by saying I’m not getting on, but it drops to 280, 250, and 200.
I refuse because I’m upset about trying to rip you off, and I tell Otorixia next to me to go for 150 rupees, and the driver calls me coolly.
But this Otorixia driver is Super Ultra Best Driver.
Raced the traffic hell Varanasi like crazy and dropped me off at the terminal too soon..LOL
터미널로 가서 티켓팅 부스로 가서 플랫폼 번호를 물어보고
아직 한 시간이나 남아서 근처 기둥에 가방을 세워두고 멍 때리는데
주변에 바라나시-카트만두 버스 예약해주는 여행사가 있길래 가서 물어봤는데
자기네는 고락뿌르-포카라는 예약해주지 않는단다.
그래도 친절하게 포카라까지 가는 길을 설명해준다.
생각보다 친절한 사람이 많긴 한 듯.
I went to the terminal, went to the ticketing booth, and asked for the platform number.
There was still an hour left, so I was spacing out with my bag standing on a nearby pillar.
There was a travel agency nearby that booked the Varanasi-Katmandu bus, so I went and asked.
They don’t book Gorakpur-Pokhara.
Still, it kindly explains the way to Pokhara.
I think there are a lot of kind people.
시간이 되어 버스에 올라타는데 직원에게 내 배낭 어디 두어야 하냐고 물으니 가지고 올라가란다.
그래서 가지고 올라왔더니 놓을 곳이 없다..
배낭을 가지고 버스 짐칸에 놓으러 내려가니 이미 꽉 찼다.
공간을 내어 넣을까 했는데 안전하지않다는 말에 다시 가지고 올라와 의자 아래에 세우고는 다리를 대충 놓았다.
ㅠㅠㅠ..
I was getting on the bus when I asked the staff where I should put my backpack, and they told me to take it with me.
So I brought it up and there’s no place to put it.
When I went down to put my backpack in the bus compartment, it was already full.
I was going to take a break and put it in, but when I heard it was not safe, I brought it up again, stopped it under the chair, and laid my legs roughly.
(crying)..
여섯시간 가야 하는데 어떡하지 하는데,
감사하게도맨 앞자리 앉은 한국인 중년 부부께서 본인들 발 앞에는 여유 공간이 있으니 맡아주겠다고 말씀하셔서 맡겨놓았다.
야호!
I have six hours to go, and I’m worried if I can hold out,
Thankfully, a middle-aged Korean couple sitting in the front seat said they would take care of it because there was a free space in front of their feet, so I left it to them.
Yay!
이제 바라나시를 떠나고 고락뿌르로 갑니다!!!!
Now I’m leaving Varanasi and going to Gorakpur!!!!
