방안에 누워 내일 오전 도착할 바라나시 숙소를 알아보고 있는데
또 바깥이 거대한 음악소리와 함께 쿵쾅쿵쾅 울린다.
무슨일인가 싶어 나가보니 호텔 직원 왈 결혼식 행사중의 하나란다.
커다란 음악과 함께 춤추며 동네 한바퀴!
Lying in my room, I’m looking for the accommodation for Varanasi, which will arrive tomorrow morning,
Once again, the outside thumps with a huge sound of music.
When I went out wondering what was going on, the hotel staff said it was one of the wedding events.
A round of town dancing with loud music!
외국인이 신기한 듯 쳐다보고 있으니 무리 중 세명이 내게 일로 오라는 신호를 보낸다.
거절의 제스쳐를 취하니 다가와
‘내 동생의 결혼식이야. 와서 사진 하나 찍어줘’ 하길래
형의 마음으로 흔쾌히 응했다.
그들의 무리 중간으로 들어가니 연예인이 된 듯 길을 내어주고 선글라스와 전통 모자까지 씌워준다.
카메라를 보라며 어깨동무해서 사진도 찍고 그가 추는 춤을 따라하라며 보여주기도 하고 주변 사람들과 음악에 맞춰 점프하기도 하며 잠깐의 시간이지만 즐거웠다.
내게 건내준 한 모금의 맥주는 짜릿하기까지..!

As a foreigner is staring curiously, three of the group signals me to come here.
