Trip to Myanmar, a hidden treasure : 11. Inle Lake Boat Tour Morning Time_Inle, Myanmar
일곱시에 일어났다.
날씨가 어떤가 궁금해 커튼을 젖혀보니 일출보러 안나가길 정말 잘했다.
조식을 먹으러 건물 꼭대기로 올라갔다.
6-9시가 조식 시간이라고 했는데 7시가 조금 넘은 시간임에도
다들 밥 먹고 나갔는지 음식은 줄어있고 사람은 한 명도 없다.
간단히 음식을 덜어내고 빵도 두쪽 구워 아침을 먹는다.
I got up at seven in the morning.
I was curious about the weather, so I turned the curtains back and I was glad I didn’t go out to see the sunrise.
I went up to the top of the building for breakfast.
They said breakfast time is 6-9 o’clock, but even though it’s a little over 7 o’clock,
I guess everyone went out after eating, but the food is reduced and there are no people.
Simply take out the food and bake two slices of bread for breakfast.
방으로 들어와 샤워하고 만나기로 한 여덟시 반에 맞춰 밖으로 나왔다.
나오자마자 내가 언제 나오는지 뚫어져라 바라보고 있던 듯 손을 치켜 올리는 그를 따라 보트로 향했다.
오늘은 날이 좋기를 바라며 출발.
I came into the room, took a shower, and came out in time to meet at 8:30.
As soon as I came out, I followed him to the boat, raising his hand as if I were staring at when I was coming out.
Let’s go today hoping for a good day.
흐리던 하늘이 어느새 맑아져 뜨거운 열기가 가득하지만 강바람은 언제나 시원하다.
어제 일몰보러 나갔던 길을 그대로 지나쳐 한 시간 가까이 나가 나를 세워준 곳은 은 공방.
어제 보여준 투어 코스에도 있던 곳이라 내렸더니 직원 한 명이 따라다니며 설명을 해준다.
돌에서 추출해서 어떻게 은이 되어 가공하는 순서까지 바깥에서 직원들이 만들고 있는 모습을 보여주는데
그리고는 안쪽으로 데리고 가 엄청난 크기의 판매장으로 안내한다.
아니 밖에 저 조그만 곳에서 그렇게 만들어서 이만큼을 만든 것처럼 보여주는데 믿는 사람이 있을리가 없잖아(…)
The cloudy sky is clear and full of hot heat, but the river breeze is always cool.
The silver jewelry store stopped me for nearly an hour after passing the road where I went out to see the sunset yesterday.
It was also on the tour course shown yesterday, so I got off and an employee followed me around and explained.
It shows the staff making it outside, from the stone to the processing of how it is made into silver,
Then it takes me to a huge store inside.
No, it doesn’t make sense that it was processed little by little in that small place, and if it was processed enough to fill such a large store, wouldn’t it be right to think that the person who believes it is a fool.
밖으로 나와 보트를 타고 도착한 곳은 실크, 면 으로 만든 제품을 파는 곳.
이번에도 직원 한 명이 따라다니면서 연 줄기에서 실을 어떻게 추출해서 어떻게 만드는지 설명을 해주고,
다른 직원은 그 추출작업을 하고 있는데
다른거 설명 듣다가 아직도 하고 있는지 뒤를 돌아보니 어디 갔나 안보이더라. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
뭐하는거야 여기. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
이번에도 판매장으로 안내하는데 추천한다고 보여주는 것들 디자인이.. ㅠㅠㅠ
내 스타일이 아니라고 했더니 괜찮단다.
여기는 강매하는 경향이 아직은 없어서 안사도 괜찮다고 한다.
The place where I came out by boat was a place where I sold products made of silk and cotton.
This time, one of the employees follows me around and explains how to extract thread from the stem and make it,

When I looked back to see if he was still doing it while listening to other explanations, I couldn’t see where the extraction worker went. lol
What are you doing here. lol
The design of the things you recommend to guide me to the sales floor again this time.. (Crying)
I said it wasn’t my style, so it’s okay.
It is said that it is okay not to buy it because there is no tendency to force it here.
밖으로 나왔더니 보트기사가 이쪽으로 오란다.
차 한 잔 마시며 일몰까지 볼꺼냐고 다시 묻는데 당연히 봐야한다고 하니
아직 시간이 많이 남았으니 쉬었다 가잔다.
사장이 나타나더니 나한테 막 이것 저것 궁금한거 묻다가 갑자기 종이 한 장을 들고오며
‘한국 사람들이 많이 오는데 영어를 못해 한국어좀 알려줘’ 한다.
내가 알기로 한국 사람 정도면 영어 잘하는거 아닌가..?
여튼 본인이 알고 싶어하는 한국어 가르쳐 주었으니
거기가서 ‘비싸다’ 이야기하면 ‘안비싸요’ 하고 돌아올거다. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
내게 한국어 가르쳐준 선물로 본인 가게 홍보티셔츠를 준다.
이거 안받을 수도 없고.. 잠옷으로 입을까나.
I came out and the boat driver said to come this way.
I was having a cup of tea with him and he asked me again, “Are you going to watch until sunset?” And I said, “Of course I should watch sunset.”
He still has a lot of time left for me, so let’s take a rest.
Then the boss showed up and asked me questions, and suddenly he brought a piece of paper
“There are a lot of Koreans coming, but they can’t speak English, so please teach me Korean.”
As far as I know, Korean people are good at English, right?
Anyway, I taught him the Korean language that he wants to learn
If you go there and say ‘expensive’, you will say ‘not expensive’ and come back to Korean. lol
As a gift that I taught him Korean, he gives me a promotional t-shirt of his store.
I can’t say no to this.. Should I wear it as my pajamas.
다음으로 향한 곳은 대장장이가 있는 곳이라는데..
내가 들어가니까 뜨거운 불로 데운 것을 직원 둘이 더 나타나서 마구 때린다.
2~3분쯤 때리며 붉어진게 식으니 그만 때리는데 엄청 어설프다.
설명 할 수가 없네.
뒤에 만들어논 칼 같은거 보는데 녹슬고..
이거 파는거지…?
The next place we’re headed for is the blacksmith.
When I go in, two more employees appear and hit me with hot iron.
They hit it with a hammer for about two to three minutes and it cooled down, so I’m very clumsy to stop hitting it.
I can’t explain it.
I’m looking at the knife behind me, and it’s rusty..
They’re selling this, right?
그리고 또 간곳은 배를 만들고, 담배를 만드는 곳인데. 내가 아무리 일몰까지 보고 돌아가겠다고 했지만 일정이 다 쇼핑이야.
짜증나려고 하네.
밖에 만들고 있다는 배를 보여주며 무슨 나무고, 나무 건조는 어떻게 하고, 방수처리는 어떻게 하고,
배 한 척 만드는데 얼마나 걸리고 설명하는데 이 것도 그냥 보여주기식인거 같은 느낌..
안에는 담배 만들고 있는데 그냥 계속 만들기만 한다.
내게 한 번 피워볼거냐는데 난 담배는 무슨일이 있어도 피지 않으니 패스.
근데 여기 배 만드는 곳이긴 한가보다.
내가 타고온 배 보수공사를 하고 있다. ㅋ..ㅋ
And I went to make ships and cigarettes. No matter how much I said I would go back after seeing the sunset, the schedule is all shopping.
I’m trying to be annoyed.
Showing a ship that’s being built outside, what wood, how to build wood, how to waterproof it,
How long does it take to build a boat and it’s like it’s just a show..
Inside, an employee is making cigarettes, but he just keeps making them.
You ask me if I want to smoke, but I don’t smoke, so pass.
But I guess this is really a place to make a ship.
The ship I rode is being repaired.
그리고 점심 먹으러 식당으로!
간단하게 볶음면과 망고쥬스를 주문했는데 지금 바로 생 망고를 갈아온 것인지 정말 맛있다.
이번 여행에서 먹은 망고주스 중에 제일 맛있다.
오후에는 좀 사진 좀 찍자 제발. ㅠ_ㅠ
And to the restaurant for lunch!
I ordered stir-fried noodles and mango juice simply, but it’s really delicious if you ground the raw mango.
It’s the best mango juice I’ve ever had on this trip.
