Trip to Nepal for Himalayan tracking: 23. Last night in Kathmandu_Kathmandu, Nepal
어느 덧 시간이 흘러 카트만두 마지막 밤이 되었다.
내일 밤 9시25분 비행기를 타지만 공항이라는 곳의 특성상 여유있게 갈 생각이니
맥주 한 잔을 즐기는 것은 오늘이 마지막이다.
더불어 맛있는 저녁을 먹어야만 하는 것은 당연한 일!
아까 낮에 점심 먹고 카페 가서부터 맛집을 검색해서 찾아낸 두 곳이 있었다.
Time flew by and it was the last night of Kathmandu.
I’m taking the 9:25 flight tomorrow night, but due to the nature of the airport, I’m thinking of going a little early.
Therefore, today is the last day to enjoy a glass of beer.
It’s natural to have a delicious dinner together!
There were two places that I searched for good restaurants after lunch earlier in the day and went to a cafe and found them.
처음 찾은 곳은 치킨 스테이크가 맛있다는 곳이었고
두 번째 찾은 곳은 야크 스테이크를 먹을 수 있는 곳이었는데
이 곳에서만 먹을 수 있는 야크 스테이크를 먹으러 가기로 했다.
원숭이 사원에서 돌아오자마자 카메라를 방안에 넣어놓고 밖으로 나왔다.
The first place I searched for was a place where chicken steak was delicious,
The second place I found was a place where I could eat yak steak.
We decided to go eat yak steak that can only be eaten here.
As soon as I got back from the monkey temple, I put my camera in the room and came out.
검색하다가 발견한 블로거가 만든 타멜 지도를 보며
야크 레스토랑을 찾아 갔는데 가게가 없다.
주변 상인에게 물어보니 모른단다.
여기는 없다는데.. 구글 지도로 검색하니 숙소가 있는 길에 있다.
역시 구글 지도가 짱이야.
앞쪽에 보이는 Yak Restaurant.
“스테이크 먹자!!!” 하며 안으로 들어가려는데 문이 닫혀있고 종이가 하나 붙어있다.
13-14일은 선거 때문에 열지 않고, 15일날 오픈한다는 문구.
“왜!!!! 선거 하는데 식당 문을 닫아!!!!” 를 외치며 분노. (…)
Looking at the tamel map made by a blogger I found while searching,
I visited a yak restaurant, but there is no store.
I asked the merchants around me and they didn’t know.
They don’t have it here.. When I searched on Google Maps, it was on the road where the hotel.
Google Maps is the best.

“Let’s eat steak!” I tried to go inside, but the door was closed and a piece of paper was attached.
The 13th-14th is not open because of the election, but it will open on the 15th.
“Why!!!! Why do you close the restaurant when it has nothing to do with the election?!”

어쩔 수 없이 향한 곳은 처음 찾았던 차차카페(ChaCha Cafe).
골목 안에 위치해 있지만 내부를 깔끔하게 보이도록 노력한 느낌이 좋아 보인다.
메뉴를 보니 검색에서 알고 있던 치킨 스테이크 이외에도 포크와 비프스테이크도 있었다.
나는 비프스테이크로, 일행은 치킨스테이크로 주문하고 당연히 맥주!
I had no choice but to go to ChaCafe, which I searched for and found for the first time.
It is located in the alley, but it looks good to try to look neat inside.
Looking at the menu, there were fork and beef steak in addition to the chicken steak I knew in the search.
I order beef steak, he order chicken steak, beer of course!
시원한 맥주로 목을 축이며 문득 드는 생각.
‘나 비프 스테이크 시켰는데 왜 굽기 안물어봤지…?’
무언가 불길함이 느껴지는데 음식이 나왔다.
사진을 찍으려는데 올라오는 향이 맛있을 것만 같았다.
비프는 두 조각으로 나와서 한 조각을 일행에게 일행의 치킨을 반 잘라 내게 옮겨 각각 먹기로.
일단 문제의 비프를 잘라 고기의 익힘을 보았는데
미디움보다는 조금 더 구워져 미디움웰던이라고 하면 딱 맞을 굽기다.
한 입 먹었는데 오오오.
치킨도 조금 잘라 한 입 먹으니 오오오.
이럴 땐 건배!

“I ordered beef steak, but why didn’t I ask you to grill it?”
I felt something ominous, and the food came out.
I was going to take a picture, but the scent that came up seemed to be delicious.
Beef comes out in two pieces, cuts one piece to him, cuts his chicken in half to me, and eats each.
First, I cut the beef and saw how the meat was cooked,
It’s grilled a little more than medium, so medium well-done is perfect.
I took a bite. Oh.
Cut a little bit of chicken and take a bite. Oh.

진짜 맛있다를 남발하며 폭풍흡입을. ㅋ..ㅋ
그간 여행에서 먹은 음식중 여기가 일등이다.
그런데 더욱 놀라운건 치킨스테이크(350루피) 비프스테이크(400루피) 맥주 한 병(340루피) 해서 1090루피가 나왔다.
얼마냐고?
한국 돈으로 약 13,000원.
여긴 텍스도 따로 안붙고 메뉴에 적힌 그대로가 금액이다.
이 곳을 어떻게하면 사람들이 많이 알게 될 수 있을지 고민을 심각하게 해봐야겠다.
맛있는곳은 다른 사람들에게도 알려야지.

There is no tax here, and the amount is as written on the menu.
I should seriously think about how to get to know this place a lot.
I’ll try it and let other people know about this delicious place.
기분이 좋은 상태로 밖으로 나와 맥주 한 잔 더 마실 곳을 찾아 다녔다.
옆 골목의 레스토랑 모여 있는 곳으로도 가보고, 이쪽 저쪽 다니다가
2층에 있는 한 레스토랑에 자리를 잡았다.
배가 부르니 가볍게 치즈볼 하나랑 맥주를 시켜 느긋하게 먹고 마신다.
트래킹하다 만난 인연이 포카라에서도, 카트만두에서도 이어져 덕분에 맛있는 것 나눠 먹을 수 있어 감사했다.
I came out in a good mood and looked for another beer.
I went to the restaurant in the next alley, and I went from side to side,
We settled in a restaurant on the second floor.
Since we are full, we order a cheese ball and beer to relax and drink.
I was grateful that the relationship I met while tracking continued in Pokhara and Kathmandu, so I could share delicious food.

그와 내가 연이 하나도 없었음에도 내 작업물들이 퍼져 나가고 있다는 뿌듯함이 느껴지는 밤이었다-!
