조식이 포함되어 있으니 먹지 않을 수도 없고.
아침에 일어나기 힘들다.
늦장부리다가 여덟시가 넘어서 5층으로 올라갔다.
그래도 여기는 조식 먹고 있는 사람이 꽤 많은 것을 보아하니 손님이 많이 있기는 한가보다.
볶음밥과 볶음면을 조금씩 덜어내고 크루아상과 과일 그리고 빠질 수 없는 커피로 아침을 먹는다.
방으로 돌아와 외장하드에 사진 백업을 위해 노트북을 켜다가 어제 담은 커플 사진 보정을 해야겠다는 생각이 들었다.
백업을 하면서 그 사진의 보정 방법에 대해 머릿속으로 시뮬레이션을 해보고 작업을 시작했다.
선물로 보내줘야 하니 열 아홉장의 사진을 작업하는지라 시간이 꽤 오래 걸리는데 첫 결과물이 마음에 들지 않는다.
다시 색감부터 다시 잡고 새로 시작해서 꽤 흡족한 결과가 나왔는데 벌써 한 시가 다 되었다.
Breakfast is included, so I can’t help but eat it.
It’s hard to get up in the morning.
I went up to the 5th floor after 8 a.m. after being late.
Still, there are quite a few people eating breakfast here, so there must be a lot of customers.
Take out fried rice and stir-fried noodles little by little and have breakfast with croissants, fruits, and coffee that cannot be missed.
When I came back to my room, I turned on my laptop to back up my photos on my external hard drive, and I thought I should do the couple photo correction I captured yesterday.
As I was backing up, I simulated in my head how to calibrate the picture and started working on it.
I have to send it as a gift, so I’m working on 19 photos, so it takes quite a long time, but I don’t like the first result.
I picked up the color again and started anew, and I was quite satisfied with the result, and it’s already almost 1 p.m.
아직도 안씻고 작업하고 있었어서, 얼른 씻고 나와서 어디 갈지 찾아보았다.
보통 만달레이에서는 근처에 위치한 타 지역들을 엮어 원데이투어를 많이 가는데 대부분 택시를 대절해서 간다.
어제 탔던 택시기사에게 물어보니 3개의 지역만 가면 하루에 35000짯
더 멀리있는 지역까지 추가해서 4개의 지역을 가면 50000짯이라고 했다.
요금은 정가라는게 없다보니 재량껏 깍으면 다 다른 요금이 나오긴 하겠지만.

When I asked the taxi driver I took yesterday, if I go to 3 areas, 35,000Ks a day,

There is no fixed price, so if you cut it at your discretion, there will be different charges.
그런데 택시라는게 한 차에 기사를 제외하고도 4명이 더 탈 수 있다보니
1/n하면 하루 대절해도 크게 부담이 되는 금액 아닌데 혼자라면 이야기가 많이 달라진다.
거의 4만 5만원돈인데 배낭여행객에게는 그 돈이면 이틀을 더 여행 할 수 있는 돈이라 망설이게 되어
혼자라면 택시 빌리지는 말고 무허가인 오토바이 택시를 타고 가야겠다 행각이 들었다.
이미 오후이기도 하고 애초부터 느긋하게 움직인 이유가 혼자서는 전부 다 갈 생각이 전혀 없었다.

밖으로 나와 기차역 쪽으로 걸었다.
어제 만났던 한국분이 역 근처에 있는 오토바이 기사들이 싸다고 이야기를 해주어서
밑져야 본전인셈 치고 걸어가는데 가까운 거리가 아니다.
그늘이 거의 없다보니 조금만 걸어도 땀이 흐른다.
큰 길에서 작은 길로 옮겨가 걸으면 병원 건물처럼 생긴 커다란 건물이 솟아있다.
정문 후문에 네개의 긴 오르막이 마련되어있고 그 위에 기차역이 위치해있다.
큰 길로 나가기위해선 기차역을 가로질러 내려가야했는데 영어가 한 마디도 쓰여있지 않아 길이 헷갈리는데
눈치껏 지나가는 사람 따라서 가다보니 가로질러 반대편으로 나왔다.

There are four long uphill at the back gate of the main gate, and a train station is located above it.
I had to cross the train station to go out on the main road, but I am confused because there is not a word written in English,
I followed the passerby and came across to the other side.
나와서 조금 걷다보니 호객행위를 시작한다.
먼저 다가온 사람에게 사가잉 지역을 구경하고 우베인 다리에서 일몰 볼거야 했더니 알아듣지를 못한다.
어제 택시에서 찍어둔 코스 사진을 보여주니 자꾸 만달레이힐만 얘기하는데
몇 번의 반복 끝에 알아들은 것 같았고, 얼만지 물어보니 25000짯을 달라고 한다.
아니 그돈이면 택시를 타지 오토바이를 왜 타.
됐다고하고 길을 넘어가 조금 걷고 있으니 도로 중간에서 한 명이 나를보고 소리친다.
여기로 오라고 손짓하니 다가오는 그에게 지도를 보여주며 얘기 하고 금액을 물어봤더니 20000짯을 부른다.
‘방금 저 반대편에서도 20000짯이었다. 근데 비싸서 안탔다. 15000짯에 가자’ 했더니
안된다고 하다가 본인이 잠깐 생각하다가 17000짯에 가자고 하길래 그래 가자. 하고 탔다.

As I walked a little after crossing the street, one of the people in the middle of the road shouted at me.
When I beckoned to come here, I showed him a map coming up, talked to him, and asked him the amount, and he called me 20,000 Ks.
I said, ‘It was 20,000 Ks on the other side. But I didn’t because it was expensive. Let’s go for 15,000Ks.’
He said no, but he thought about it for a second and asked me to go to 17000Ks, so let’s go. I rode it like this way.
방금 걸어온 방향을 그대로 돌아가 호텔을 지나쳐 한 마을로 나를 데려간다.
헬멧을 써야 한다고 본인의 집으로 데려가는데 잠시 기다리니 두개의 헬멧을 가지고 나온다.
또 조금 가다가 주유소에서 기름을 넣고 본격적으로 출발.
오토바이가 달릴때는 바람이 시원하지는 않고 미지근한 바람이 불어 그나마 조금 괜찮기는 한데
햇빛이 워낙 강렬해서 인레에서 보트투어하던 그 느낌이다.
거긴 강이라 달리면 시원하기라도 했지.

만달레이를 빠져나가 어울리지 않게 현대식으로 지어진 커다란 다리까지 약 사십분정도 나갔다.
이 다리 건너면서부터 사가잉 지역이라고 설명해주는데 다리 중간에서 저 멀리 엄청난 갯수의 파고다들이 보인다.
잠시 오토바이를 세워 사진을 몇 장 찍었는데 갑자기 우베인 선셋 고? 라고 한다.
뭐했다고?
지도 다시 보여주면서 여기랑 여기랑 여기 가야지 했더니
두 군데는 너무 멀고 사가잉힐은 오토바이로 못올라간다는데
그럼 진작 설명했어야지 아깐 된다고 타라더니 갑자기 짜증이.
아무 파고다나 가르키며 가자고 했더니 이름이 없는 곳이라는데 그래도 가자고 하니 출발한다.
It took about 40 minutes to get out of Mandalay to a large bridge built in a modern way.
From crossing this bridge, it is explained that it is a Sagaing area, and you can see a huge number of pagodas in the middle of the bridge and far away.
I stopped the motorcycle for a moment and took some pictures, and he suddenly said, “Uvein Sunset Go?”

When I showed you the map again, I said I should go here and there,
He says two places are too far, and Sagaing Hill can’t be climbed by motorcycle.
Then you should have explained it earlier. You told me to ride it before, but I’m suddenly annoyed.
I pointed to any pagoda and said it was a place with no name, but when I asked him to go, he started.
구글 지도에 이름이 나오지 않는 한 파고다에 도착했고 맨발로 들어갔다.
파고다의 중앙 길은 천장이 있어 그늘이 있는데
파고다의 모습을 담기 위해서는 땡볕으로 나가야만 하는데
몇 발자국 걸어보니 발바닥에 화상입을 것 같은 온도다.
그래도 신발을 신을 수가 없어 참아가며 걷다가 나무 그늘밑에 잠시 서서 촬영했다.
근데 다른 파고다에 가지는 못하겠다.
그들의 소중한 유적이겠지만 솔직히 많아도 너무 많기도 하고,
곧 넘어갈 바간에서는 전기 바이크를 렌트해서 다닐 거라 거기서 많이 가야겠다.
I arrived at Pagoda and went barefoot unless my name was on Google Maps.
The central road of Pagoda has a ceiling and a shade,
I have to go out into the sun to take a picture of Pagoda,
I walked a few steps and it’s a temperature where I feel like I’m going to get burned on the soles.
Still, I couldn’t wear shoes, so I walked patiently and stood under the shade of a tree for a while to film.
But I can’t go to another Pagoda.
It’s a precious relic of them, but honestly, there are many, but there are too many,
I’m going to rent an electric bike soon, so I’ll have to go there a lot.
잠시 그늘에 앉아 쉬다가 우베인 다리로 출발했다.
왔던길을 꽤 한참 돌아가서 갈림길에서 다른 방향으로 들어갔다.
길을 잘 모르는 듯 중간중간 사람들에게 물어가면서 간다.
그리고 저 멀리 우베인다리의 모습이 보인다.
유명 관광지이다보니 주변에 식당이나 관광상품 파는 가게들이 많이 있고 그 중에 한 식당앞에 주차한다.
아직 세시 반 밖에 안되어 멀리서 다리 사진 한 장 찍고 식당으로 들어갔다.
그는 이미 앉아서 음료를 한 잔 시켰고, 난 맥주를 시켰는데 병은 없고 캔밖에 없다는데 가져온건 엄청 작은 캔맥주다.
일몰 까지는 시간이 아직 많이 남아서 느긋하게 마시며 시간을 떼우다가
네 시가 되어 계산하고 나가려는데 본인이 여기 앉아서 기다릴테니 이따가 계산하라고 한다.
After sitting in the shade for a while, I set out for the Ubein Bridge.
I went back quite a long way and went in the other direction at the fork.
As if you don’t know the way, you ask people in between.
And you can see the Ubein Bridge in the distance.
As it is a famous tourist destination, there are many restaurants and shops selling tourist products nearby, and among them, they park in front of one restaurant.
It was only three thirty, so I took a picture of the bridge from afar and went into the restaurant.
He’s already sat down and ordered a drink, and I ordered a beer, but there’s no bottle and only a can, but what he brought is a very small can of beer.
There’s still a lot of time until the sunset, so I’ll drink slowly and take time off
When it’s four o’clock, I’m going to pay and leave, but he tells me to pay later because he’ll be sitting here waiting.
알겠다고 하고 밖으로 나와 다리 밑으로 부터 걸어본다.
해가 떨어지고 포인트 찾으려면 시간이 부족하기 때문에
다리 아래쪽에서 다리를 찍을 수 있는 위치를 찾아야 해서 무작정 걷다보니
다리 중간 정도까지 가서 첫 번째 후보 정도 되는 포인트를 찾고 다시 돌아 나왔는데
다리 위로 올라가기 위해서는 끝에서 끝으로 올라가는 방법밖에 없다.

땀이 잠깐 마르면 뭐하나 금방 다시 줄줄 흐르는걸..
다리 위에는 햇빛을 그냥 맞아야만 해서 걷기 전에 시원한 물을 한 병 사서 걷는다.
우베인은 세계에서 가장 긴 나무로 만든 다리라는 칭호로 알려져 있다.
그런데 아래에서 보면 꽤나 멋진 모양의 다리인 것으로 보이는데
막상 올라서 걷다보면 금방이라도 부숴질 것 같은 느낌이다.
여튼 촬영 포인트를 찾기위해 다리를 건너면서 뒤에도 바라보며 아래에서 찾았던 포인트 위치까지 갔는데
갑자기 엄청난 바람이 불며 하늘이 어두워진다.
비가 오는건가 싶을 정도의 바람이었는데 다행히 비는 오지 않고 구름이 해를 가려주고 바람이 부니까 시원하다.
다리 중간중간에는 쉼터처럼 앉아서 쉴 수 있는 공간이 마련되어 있고
상인들이 마실거나 먹을 것을 팔고 있어 힘들면 잠시 쉬어 갈 수도 있다.
쭉 걷다가 반대편 끝에 도착했다.
일몰이 시작되려면 30분 정도 있어야 할 것 같아서 다리위에 마련된 의자에 앉아 사람들 구경도하고
강도 보며 기다리다가 해가 무르익은 시간이 되자 다시 걷기 시작했다.
중간중간 멈춰서 촬영하는데 포인트 잡기가 정말 어렵다.

On the bridge, you just have to get sunlight, so buy a bottle of cool water and walk before walking.
Ubein is known as the longest wooden bridge in the world.
But if you look at it from the bottom, it looks like a pretty cool bridge

Anyway, to find the point, I crossed the bridge and looked at the back
Suddenly there is a great wind and the sky becomes dark.
It was such a wind that I wondered if it was raining, but fortunately, it was not raining, and the clouds covered the sun and the wind blew, so it was cool.
In the middle of the bridge, there’s a place where you can sit and rest like a shelter
Merchants are selling drinks or food, so you can take a break if you have a hard time.
I walked straight and arrived at the other end.
I thought it would take about 30 minutes for the sunset to start, so I sat on the chairs on the bridge and watched people
I waited while watching the robber, but when the sun was ripe, I started walking again.
It’s really hard to get a point when I stop and film in between.
첫 쉼터에서 잠깐 앉아서 해가 더 떨어지길 기다리는데
미얀마 학생 둘이 영어 공부하고 있는 중인데 과제라서 몇 가지 물어봐도 되는지 물어본다.
한국에서 왔다고 하니 오마이갓을 외치는 학생들은 송중기의 엄청난 팬인가보다.
태양의 후예를 봤다는데.
미얀마가 어떤지에 대한 질문을 많이 하던 학생들인데
한 명은 질문하고 한 명은 종이에 기록하는걸 보니 과제가 맞긴 한가보다.
그들과 헤어져 다시 다리를 걷다보면 중간쯤에 있는 쉼터에 아래로 내려가는 다리가 있다.
내려가서도 촬영하고 올라와서도 촬영하다가 출발지로 돌아왔다.
I’m sitting in the first shelter, waiting for the sun to go down
Two Myanmar students are studying English, and they ask if I can ask a few questions because it’s a assignment.
Students shouting “Oh my God” must be huge fans of Song Joong-ki since they are from Korea.
They told me I was descended from the sun.
They asked me a lot of questions about Myanmar,
One person asks a question and one person writes it on paper, so the assignment must be right.
If you break up with them and walk on the bridge again, there is a bridge that goes down at the shelter in the middle.
I went down, filmed, came up, filmed, and came back to the starting point.
기사가 기다리고 있던 식당으로 가니 내게 핸드폰을 보여주며 3시간 기다렸다고 하는데
어떡하라는건지 애초애 내가 너를 고용한게 일몰 때문인건데.
내가 오니 직원을 부르더니 계산서를 내미는데 다리꼬고 앉아서 지꺼까지 나한테 계산하게 한다.
짜증이 나지만 어쨌든 기다린건 사실이니 그냥 계산해줬다.
그런데 갑자기 2000짯을 더 달란다.
왜? 물으니 자기가 오래 기다렸다는 말인거 같은데.
뻔뻔하게 이야기 하는 모습에 화가 난다.
‘야. 내가 사가잉 구경하고 우베인 선셋 본다고 너 데려온건데 사가잉 본게 뭐 있는데. 우베인와서 선셋 볼거라고 말 했고 아직 어두워지지도 않은거 안보여? 그리고 내가 지금 니 마신거 샀잖아’
하고 버럭하니 주변 미얀마사람들이 다 쳐다본다.
찍소리도 못할거면서 안그래도 촬영 포인트 제대로 못잡아서 짜증 제대로 나 있는 사람한테 되도않는 헛소리 하고 있으니.
When I went to the restaurant where the driver was waiting, he showed me his cell phone and waited for 3 hours,
What do you want me to do? I hired you because of the sunset.
When I came, he called the staff and handed out the bill, and he sat cross-legged and made me pay for it.
It’s annoying, but it’s true that I waited anyway, so I just paid for it.
But all of a sudden, they ask for 2000Ks more.
Why? When I asked, it seems like he’s been waiting for a long time.
I’m angry at the way you talk shamelessly.
I said to him, “Hey. I brought you here to watch Sagaing and watch the Ubein Sunset, but I’ve seen Sagaing before. Uvein said he’d come and watch Sunset, and don’t you see it’s not dark yet? And I just bought what you drank.”
All the people of Myanmar around me look at me.
You’re not even going to be able to squeak, but you’re talking nonsense that doesn’t get back to someone who’s annoyed because you can’t get the point of the shoot.
오토바이 타고 호텔로 돌아왔다.
어제 같이 술마신 몽훼이가 문을 열어준다.
방으로 잠시 들어와 카메라가방을 내려놓고 저녁먹으러 호텔 근처에 있는 로컬식당으로 들어갔는데
거의 70개는 되어 보이는 식당 안과 밖 테이블에 사람들이 가득하다.
직원 한 명이 메뉴판을 가지고 와서 겉 표지에 생맥주 캔맥주 병맥주가 그려져 있는걸 가르킨다.
영어 못하는구나.
생맥을 가르키니 손가락으로 1을 표시하는 직원에게 끄덕여주었다.
왜 좋아하는거야.
메뉴를 보는데 딱히 끌리는게 없는데, 저쪽에 BBQ 쇼케이스가 있다.
어쩌다보니 매일 저녁은 BBQ로 먹는 것 같지만 종류별로 먹을 수 있다보니 좋다.

It seems like I eat BBQ every night, but it’s good because I can eat various kinds.
몇개의 꼬치를 골랐고 금방 나왔는데 하나는 잘못고른것 같다. ㅠㅠ.
식감도 이상하고 맛도 이상하고.
영어를 못하는 곳이다보니, 아니 일부 직원은 영어를 하는데 대부분이 못하는 곳이라
그냥 감으로 골랐는데 하나가 실패다 실패.
저녁먹으면서는 생맥 두 잔만 마시고 계산하고 밖으로 나왔다.
근처에 슈퍼에가서 맥주를 사려고 하는데 안판단다.
군것질 거리나 사려고 과자를 두개 집었는데 300짯이라고 하길래 하나에 300짯인줄 알았는데
한개는 100짯짜리 다른거는 200짯 짜리라고 해서 다른거 하나 더 집어서 500짯주고 과자 세 봉지 샀다.
이쪽 저쪽 돌면서 슈퍼에 가서 맥주 파냐고 묻지만 다 없다고 하고
어디서 사야 하냐고 물었더니 식당에 가서 사야 한단다.
근처 식당에 가서 두 병 사들고 호텔로 돌아왔다.
맥주 사기 엄청 힘드네. (…)
I picked a few skewers and it came out quickly, but I think I picked the wrong one. crying.
The texture is weird and the taste is weird.
The restaurant staff can’t speak English, so some employees can speak English, but most of them can’t,
I just chose it based on my gut feeling, but one is a failure.
While eating dinner, I only drank two draft beers, paid, and came out.
I want to go to a nearby supermarket and buy beer, but they don’t sell it.
I picked up two snacks to buy snacks, but they said it was 300Ks, so I thought it was 300Ks for one,
One was 100Ks and the other was 200Ks, so I picked up another one and bought three bags of snacks for 500Ks.
I went around and asked if they sell beer at the supermarket, but they all said they didn’t have it
I asked where I should buy it, and he said I should buy it at the restaurant.
I went to a nearby restaurant, bought two bottles, and came back to the hotel.
It’s really hard to buy beer.
