밥 먹고 오후에 뭐 할까 하다가

지나가는 말로 들었던 팔찌 만드는거나 배울까 싶어

찾아간 곳은 철수의 동생 영수가 운영하는 가게와 버니 카페이다.

그런데 두 군데 다 저녁에만 강좌를 연다고 하는 청천벽력과도 같은 이야기를 해서 포기..

크게 흥미가 있던건 아닌데 날이 더우니 시간이나 떼울까 했던건데 ㅠㅠ..

After eating, I was thinking about what to do in the afternoon,

I’m thinking of experiencing the one-day class of making bracelets that I heard passing by.

The places I visited were a store run by Cheolsu’s younger brother Youngsu and a BUNNY cafe.

But I gave up because they said they only open classes in the evening..

I wasn’t very interested, but I thought I’d save time because it’s hot..

잠시 호텔에 더위를 피하러 들어 왔는데 오늘따라 정전이 잦다.

잠깐 들어왔다가 나가기를 반복해서 어쩔 수 없이 찾아간 곳은

아.아가 있는 선재네 멍카페.

당연한 듯 아.아를 시켜 마시고 있는데 한국어를 정말 유창하게 하는 선재가 나타났다.

두 번째 방문이라 처음 봄.

그는 오늘 저녁에 델리로 일하러 간다고 했다.

아무래도 한국인에게만 홍보가 되어있다보니 한국이 비수기면 장사가 안되는 것 같았다.

델리에서 패키지로오는 사람들의 가이드를 하러 간다고 했다.

난 내일 오후에 떠나야 하고 선재는 일주일이나 있다가 돌아오니 처음이자 마지막으로 보았지만

다음에 또 보자며 인사를 나누었다.

I came into the hotel to avoid the heat for a while, but there are many power outages today.

The place where the electricity came on and off for a while, and I had no choice but to visit,

Sunjae’s Mung Cafe with iced Americano.

Naturally, he ordered an iced Americano and drank it, and Sunjae, who speaks Korean really fluently, appeared.

It’s my second visit, so I saw it for the first time.

He said he was going to Delhi for work this evening.

I think Sunjae’s store is only promoted to Koreans at it, it seemed that business was not going well in Korea during the off-season.

He said he was going to guide people coming from Delhi to the package.

I have to leave tomorrow afternoon and Sunjae is coming back after a week, so I’ll see him for the first time and last time.

We greeted each other, saying, “See you again next time.”

그리고 멍 때리고 있는데 왠 한국인 한 분이랑 이야기를 나누다가

본인이 2월에 왔다가 너무 좋아서 또 왔다며 정말 맛있는 라씨가게가 있다고 해서 쫓아 갔는데..

어제 갔던 메구카페를 훨씬 지나 땀으로 온 몸이 도배 됬을 때 도착한 레알라씨.

한국인에게 흔히 알려진 3대 라씨 바바라씨, 블루라씨, 시원라씨중

블루라씨 바로 옆에 있는 가게인데 정말 맛이 있어서일까 솔드아웃이란다.

난 그 분만 믿고 따라갔는데 ㅠㅠ..

The Real lassi arrived when sweat flowed all over the body after passing the MEGU cafe I went to yesterday.

Among the three lassi commonly known to Koreans, BLUE lassi, SIWON lassi, and BABA lassi

It’s a restaurant right next to the BLUE lassi, but it’s sold out because it’s really delicious.

I trusted him and followed him..

미안했는지 내게 시원라씨로 가자며 본인이 산다고 한다 ㅋ..ㅋ

그래서 먹은 코코넛라씨.

그런데 어디서 먹든 라씨는 다 똑같은 것 같다.

더군다나 내 숙소 근처에 있는 바바라씨나 삼십분 걸어오는 시원라씨나 차이가 없으니 아마도 더더욱 갈 일이 없지 않을까.

He was sorry, so he told me to go to SIWON lassi and said he would buy it. (laughs)

So I ate coconut lassi.

But wherever you eat it, lassi seems to be the same.

Moreover, there is no difference between the BABA lassi near my hotel and the SIWON lassi that walks for 30 minutes, so I probably won’t have to go even more.

라씨로 땀을 식히고 가트쪽으로 나와 화장터를 지나고, 뿌자행사를 지나고, 다시 선재네로 돌아왔다.

I cooled my sweat with a lassi, came out to the gat, passed the crematorium, passed the Puja event, and returned to Seonjae’s house.

저녁으로 김치수제비를 배불리 먹었다.

얼큰해서 그간의 느끼함이 다 사라진 듯.

I had a full hand-pulled dough soup with kimchi for dinner.

It’s so spicy that all the greasiness has disappeared.

선재네에서 내 숙소까지 가는 골목으로 걷다보면 데니스네 가게가 나오는데

데니스에게 나 오늘 마지막 밤이니, 맥주 하나만 마시겠다며 들어가 한참을 수다떨다가 숙소로 복귀!

바라나시에서의 마지막 밤입니다.

If you walk down the alley from Sunjae’s to my accommodation, you will find DENNS’s store,

Go in and tell DENNS, “I’m the last night, so I’ll just drink a beer” and chat for a while before returning to the hotel!

It’s our last night in Varanasi.
